7: But, for the good of the party, I will

I’ve now been caught out.

8: I would like to spend more time with my family

Now my spouse has caught me out as well.

9: The public have been misinformed

My propaganda failed.

10: We must educate public opinion

Our propaganda must do better.

11: I am grateful for my time in politics
=
I have made a pile.

12: He was a consummate politician
=
Thank God he’s out of the way of my ambition.

Rob Lowe, of Scots-Canadian, English and Welsh ancestry, now has a small home in North Wales.
